The Associated Press reports John Ashcroft’s latest justification for our pre‐emptive war of aggression against Iraq:

Saddam Hussein’s past use of evil chem­istry and evil biology and the threats they posed justified the war in Iraq even if no weapons of mass destruction are ever found, U.S. Attorney General John Ashcroft said Monday.

Hey, I’m taking those courses for my baccalaureate in mad science! (Those fools said I’d never find work as a mad scientist in today’s economy, but I’ll show them! I’ll show them all! Ha ha ha ha ha!)

Hope this won’t lead to an evil science crackdown. It’d hinder my dark ambitions if the next FBI bulletin told law enforcement to look out not only for people with almanacs and maps, but also for people with chemistry and biology textbooks.

Mi esperas ke tiu ne rezultigos striktiĝi kun mava scienco. Malhelpus miajn malhelajn ambiciojn se la sekva bulteno de FBI igos policon prizorgos, ne nur por homoj kun almanakoj kaj mapoj, sed ankaŭ por homoj kun lernolibroj pri kemio kaj biologio.
